We’ve been taking our 2 sons here for 5 years for their dental checkups and their braces and we couldn’t be happier. The staff is always so polite and professional, they give the kids great incentives, and will always work with you to find the best option for your insurance/financial needs. The waiting rooms have video games and they always take the kids back promptly. Never a bad experience. Highly recommend.

Today was the second time I brought my son to Children’s Braces & Dentistry, and it was such a great experience. My son is two and got his teeth cleaned for the first time! The dental assistant, Francis, was beyond amazing! She was so good with my son. She made him feel so comfortable! She was making him laugh and allowed him to pick his own flavors for the toothpaste and vitamins. I’m actually really surprised at how good the appointment went because I was sure that my son wouldn’t want anyone messing with his mouth. But it was such an easy experience and I know it’s because of the amazing people that work there. Can’t thank them enough for making this experience a great one and helping my son feel at home! Proud mommy!

- When should kids go to the dentist?
At Children’s Braces and Dentistry, we recommend that kids go to their kid’s dentist in La Mesa once every six months. Going to the dentist twice a year will help the dentist find any new cavities that may occur during that period. A lot can happen to teeth if they are not consistently cleaned.
- What does Pediatric Dentistry mean?
As a pediatric dentist in La Mesa, we must let you know just what a pediatric dentist is. There is a difference between a general dentist and a pediatric dentist. Pediatric dentists specialize specifically in the development of the teeth, gums, and jaw of adolescence.
- How to choose the right pediatric dentist in La Mesa?
When looking for a kids dentist in La Mesa, there are a few things to consider when choosing the one that is right for your child. First is they need to be a licensed and credited dentist. They should have their certifications in their window or inside. They also should be able to give you a tour so you can get a feel of the atmosphere.
- What are the things to consider when looking for a Pediatric Dentist?
Other things to consider when looking for a pediatric dentist in La Mesa include good reviews. It would be best if you combed through all of the reviews when looking for the right kid’s dentist in La Mesa. A good dentist should have more positive reviews than negative ones. If you can get recommendations from friends, that also helps.
- What can I expect from a pediatric dentist?

Depending on your kid’s age, they should be brushing their teeth on their own with an age-appropriate toothbrush.
